Team 1 Plastics Passes TS16949 Recertification Audit
Team 1 Plastics was subject to their 3-year recertification audit for ISO/TS 16949:2009 from March 17th to 19th. Team 1 passed the audit with zero nonconformances, and has received a new certification valid until March of 2013. Dave Smith, representing the registrar, NSF-ISR as Lead Auditor, conducted the audit. While most of the Team 1 quality system is audited for conformance every year by NSF-ISR, the recertification audit is a thorough review of the entire management system.
Team 1 has been certified to TS 16949 since 2005, after making the transition from QS-9000. Our efforts to maintain the quality system in compliance with the standard are supported by the efforts of R&R Quality Solutions. The excellent auditing services R&R provides have been key to maintaining a solid internal audit system, keeping Team 1 aware of system performance and up to date on the most current interpretations of the standard.
