Craig Carrel Featured in NFIB Video on Unemployment Insurance
Craig Carrel, President of Team 1 was featured in the National Federation of Independent Business video regarding Unemployment Insurance. The NFIB highlighted small business owner’s reactions to a new legislation in Congress, HR 1745 “The Jobs Act.” The legislation would ultimately protect small business owners from an Unemployment Insurance tax increase by granting states more flexibility in funding.
The NFIB interviewed Craig regarding the issue of Unemployment Insurance tax increases. Craig spoke about his concerns with Unemployment Insurance taxes, some of which are as high as 10%. He is pleased that the legislation would allow each state to allocate their Unemployment Insurance funds.
Team 1 has been a member of the NFIB for over 20 years. “It is a great organization that really focuses all its efforts on representing small businesses. We are proud to participate in their campaign to inform their members on this important issue” said Craig.
