"I have worked closely with Team 1 Plastics for over 15 years as they grew from a small initial supplier to becoming one of our critical suppliers and key partners with TRAM. During this time they have always responded quickly to all of our requests. In particular, they helped us launch a critical assembly that was being threatened by another plastic supplier who had fallen way behind in new mold development. They took these molds in with less than a month to full production and were able to get them PPAP approved without any delays or missed production. Ultimately, the late original molds were replaced with more efficient molds that lowered piece price costs. These savings over the life of the program paid for the new tooling and provided a cost reduction to our customer, Toyota. Team 1 saved this critical program in a very cost effective manner."
