Team 1 Plastics Empowers Team Member Well-Being with Wellness Program

In January 2022, Team 1 Plastics introduced a new wellness platform to the team, called Vigoroom. This free mobile app has been available to all Team Members with an Android or iOS device, allowing the users to track weight loss, steps, and everything in between. Since implementing Vigoroom two years ago, Team 1 has utilized the app to hold challenges and step games, with points to earn and quarterly prizes for the winners.  Built-in programs like “Depression Relief,” “Handling Aggression,” and “Conscious Smoking Cessation,” provide participating Team Members with the power and knowledge to begin improving their health one step at a time.

Quality Manager – Vance Bodell

Team 1 Plastics Quality Manager Vance Bodell uses the Vigoroom app regularly and shared, “it keeps me aware of when I need to get up from my desk and get my daily steps in.”  Vance has fun with the personal step challenges and enjoys the friendly competition when playing the group step challenges.  Plus, “there’s always a bonus of the potential $25 gift card if you are above the ‘eligibility line’ in the game.”

Last month, Team 1 doubled down on the company wellness program when partnering with local gym, Smart Strength & Conditioning.  Offering reduced membership fees to Team Members, this partnership allows all participants an opportunity to join a local gym at a more affordable price.
