By supporting its customers’ operations and consolidating parts, Team 1 Plastics can coordinate with its customers to produce the assemblies they need, saving them both time and money.
The Assembly team focuses on assemblies that allows for part consolidation and labor and freight savings. It works closely with customers to purchase any additional components, such as springs, pins, and inserts, as well as painted or electrical components.
Many light assembly jobs require welding two parts together. Team 1 Plastics currently has capabilities for these types of welding processes: Vibration Welding, Hot Plate Welding, and Spin Welding.
The Assembly team is dedicated to lean practices such as error proofing (poke yokes), and laser and vision systems to eliminate quality defects.
