Another Safety Milestone Achieved by Team 1 Plastics
On November 11, 2015, Team 1 Plastics passed another safety milestone. It has been more than 5,500 days since Team 1’s last lost-time accident which occurred on October 20, 2000. That is more than 15 years ago!
To put that number in perspective, think about this. The last lost-time accident was before Apple released the iPad (2010), the iPhone (2007), and the iPod (2001)! A lot has changed in the past 15 years, but Team 1’s dedication to its Team Members’ safety has not!
A celebration marking the achievement of 5,500 Safety Days is being planned. During the celebration, a company photograph will be taken to commemorate the milestone, and a special gift will be presented to each Team Member.
