Boosting Morale at Team 1 Plastics
2023 has been a great year for Team 1 Plastics. Business is booming and team morale is at an all-time high! It’s no wonder the company has been named a Best Place to Work by Plastics News nine times since 2014.
Team 1 Plastics has been boosting team morale in many ways throughout 2023. Earlier this month the company held a Team Member Photo Contest; the third contest of its kind at Team 1 – including one in 2016 and one in 2018. The winning photos from the contest get printed onto canvases and displayed throughout the facility; giving the workspace a fresh, new look, while also allowing the Team Members an opportunity to showcase their photography skills. Another recent morale booster has included reviving the company’s tradition of Monthly Theme Days. Just as the name implies, one day a month is dedicated to that particular month’s theme: spreading lots of smiles and comradery around the shop. A fun tradition that hadn’t be held at the company since late 2017, the Monthly Theme Days were revived by the Customer Service Department in March. Since that time, Team 1 has held four Theme Days: St. Patrick’s Day, Sports Day, Disco Day, and most recently Summer/Beach Hawaiian Day.
