Celebrating Safety and Success at Team 1

In September 2024, Team 1 Plastics achieved a remarkable milestone—2,500 consecutive days without a lost-time accident, surpassing 6.5 years of workplace safety! Adding to this success, the company was once again recognized by Plastics News as one of the Best Places to Work for 2025, securing the #7 spot among processors. This marks Team 1’s 11th time earning this prestigious distinction. To celebrate these achievements, Team Members gathered on April 23 at the company’s Albion, Michigan facility for a special event. Team 1 collaborated with photographer Dave Sherwin of Studio 8592 LLC to offer 18 Team Members a new or updated professional headshot. Following the photoshoot, the entire team assembled outside the production facility for a commemorative group photo.

The celebration continued with each Team Member receiving a special commemorative jacket, marking the occasion in style. Everyone then enjoyed a meal from Lopez Taco House, a beloved local Mexican restaurant, sharing food, laughter, and a well-earned sense of achievement. As part of the festivities, Team 1 also revealed a stunning new mural at the facility, adding an artistic touch to the celebration.
