Paylocity Serves as Helpful Tool for Team 1 Plastics

Team 1’s HR Manager Rob Clothier described when the company began utilizing this electronic enrollment software, and how it has benefited the HR Department. “We started using Paylocity for insurance enrollment in 2019. We use it for open enrollment, new enrollment, and plan changes. It saves a lot of administrative time due to less paper being used and is easier for our team to fill out. The time to complete the entire open enrollment process has been reduced significantly.”

As Rob mentioned, Paylocity has made the insurance enrollment process much easier for Team Members as well. “Prior to online enrollment, our annual open enrollment period consisted of each Team Member getting a packet of paper that they had to fill out,” explained Rob. “Now it’s as simple as logging in and going through a few pages of family and plan information. The system shows how selections impact a Team Member’s paycheck and they can adjust accordingly.” Team Members can also easily access all their information – including insurance, pay history, check stubs, and time off – from the Paylocity app or by using a computer. Team 1’s President and Co-owner Craig Carrel added that “as a user, Paylocity has been great and makes things easier. It has been a nice step forward and we are using features beyond just payroll services.”
