Expansion Progress Update

Building expansion continues at Team 1 Plastics, a plastic injection molding company specializing in precision automotive parts. The project, which will increase the plant by 3,500 square feet, is the first building expansion for Team 1 in more than 15 years.

During December 2015, the footings were dug, foundation walls were poured, and underground pipes and conduit were completed.

The added floor space will allow Team 1 to relocate its Maintenance Department, which, in turn, allows for additional space to expand its production capability. In the production space, the company plans to add a total of seven new molding machines in the future.

The next phase of the project is the erection of the steel framework which is scheduled to begin in early February 2016.
