Expansion Project Continues

Progress continues to be made on the building expansion at Team 1 Plastics, a plastic injection molding company specializing in precision automotive parts. The project, which will increase the plant by 3,500 square feet, is the first building expansion for Team 1 in more than 15 years.

The added floor space will allow Team 1 to relocate its Maintenance Department, which, in turn, allows for additional space to expand its production capability. In the production space, the company plans to add a total of seven new molding machines.

The builders have completed the steel framework. And, the walls and roof have been added, enclosing the addition.

The construction now focuses on the interior of the building. The pouring of the cement floor is the next major step to be accomplished.
