Inc.’s 5000 List for 2015 Includes Team 1 Plastics

Each year, Inc. magazine issues its prestigious 5000 List, a list of the “fastest growing private companies” based on percentage revenue growth for the past three years. Team 1 Plastics was honored to be included on the 2015 list as one of only twelve manufacturers in Michigan.

This is the second time that Team 1 Plastics has made the Inc. 5000 list. The company also received similar recognition in 1993 when it was ranked 101st.

A lot has changed since 1993 for manufacturing in Michigan. However, Team 1 has persistently advanced. The company has expanded its production capacity several times, weathered the recession of 2008, and has embraced technology as a tool to compete globally.

According to Inc.’s website, “The 2015 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent–not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies–as of December 31, 2014.”
