Interior Work Now Focus of Construction

The cement floor has been laid, and construction of partitions is underway as the focus of the work for the building expansion at Team 1 Plastics shifts to the interior. The company, a plastic injection molding company specializing in automotive parts, is in the process of expanding both its building and production capabilities.

Progress of the building expansion has moved at a swift pace and is ahead of schedule due to the mild winter that mid-Michigan has experienced. And now that the building is enclosed, weather will play even less of a factor in moving toward completion in April.

The building expansion, the first in more than 15 years for Team 1, increases the plant by 3,500 square feet. Inside the plant, Team 1 has already installed three new production molding machines.

To celebrate the expansion, Team 1 Plastics is hosting an Open House for its customers and the community on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Details regarding the Open House will be published at a later date.
