Team 1 Plastics Awarded Top Safety Award
Team 1 Plastics, a plastic injection molding company for the automotive industry, has once again been recognized by the Plastics Industry Association (formerly Society of the Plastics Industry) for its safety record.
In September 2016, the company was awarded the Gold Distinguished Safety Award for the 2015 calendar year. This is the top Safety award given in SPI’s Safety Statistics and Awards Program. The company previously earned SPI’s Silver Distinguished Safety Awards for the calendar years 2012 and 2013.
According to the Plastics Industry Association’s website, the “Gold Distinguished Safety Awards recognize worksites with no occupational injuries or illnesses, as defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), during the calendar year 2015.”
