Team 1 Plastics Plans Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Team 1 Plastics, a plastic injection molding company for the automotive industry, is proud to announce a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to commemorate the completion of its recent building expansion. The ceremony will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Team 1 Plastics at 927 Elliott Road in Albion, Michigan.

Participating in the ceremony will be Team 1 Plastics’ co-owners, Craig Carrel and Gary Grigowski, the Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce, Albion Economic Development Corporation, and local dignitaries.

The building expansion, which is the first in more than 15 years, increased Team 1 Plastics’ plant by 3,500 square feet. The added floor space will allow Team 1 to relocate its Maintenance Department, which, in turn, allows for additional space to expand its production capability. In the production space, the company plans to add a total of seven new molding machines.

The celebration continues on Wednesday, May, 11, 2016, when Team 1 Plastics hosts a Community Open House from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The Open House, which is open to the public, will include plant tours and a brief presentation at 6:00 pm.
