Team 1 Plastics, a plastic injection molding company for the transportation industry, has stayed busy recognizing the team members that hit a service anniversary in 2021.  Team 1 prides themselves in being a great place to work by providing a safe and enjoyable work environment.  But don’t just take our word for it.  For seven of the past eight years, Team 1 Plastics has been named one of Plastics News’ Best Places to Work.  It is because of this enjoyable work environment that numerous team members have chosen to stay with Team 1 for many years.

Team members are recognized for every five years of service they put in at Team 1; receiving a Nike pullover jacket with the corresponding number of years printed on the jacket.  Typically, these awards are presented during an annual open book meeting, but the 2021 meeting could not be held in person due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.  Instead, Team 1 Plastics’ Human Resources Manager presented the honorees with their jackets in person over the course of the last few weeks of 2021 and into the beginning of 2022.

The following team members were presented with their 2021 service jacket.  Each team member listed also includes the number of years they have been a member of the Team 1 Plastics family and their current position title.

Marcus Battin – 5 years – Purchasing Manager/Planner
Brian Gamble – 10 years – Production Assistant
Donn Briskie – 10 years – Sales Support Technician
Carlos Cisneros – 10 years – Quality Technician
Will Adams – 10 years – Machine Maintenance Specialist
Chris Seidel – 15 years – Process Engineer II

Additionally, in December 2021 Lead Assembly Captain Shelley Lewis was presented with a plaque, recognizing her 30 years of service with Team 1.  An article highlighting the presentation of that award can be viewed here.  Team 1 Plastics remains thankful for the hard work and commitment to safety from all team members every day!
