Giving is a Way of Life for Team 1 Plastics
Giving is a part of Team 1’s Championship Dream — a document that reflects the focus and philosophy of Team 1 Plastics. In the document, Team 1 promises to support local organizations like Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum (KNS). Team 1 was recently recognized as a “Concert Elf” (sponsor) of the Christmas ‘N’ Stuff Concert. All proceeds from the concert will be used to support KNS, which has served thousands of children in the Albion area in the last eleven years.
Giving is also a way to express your appreciation for another person. In appreciation of its valued customers, Team 1 Plastics recently donated a percentage of its annual sales to the Food Bank of South Central Michigan. This donation was given in the name of each of its customers to honor them and thank them for doing business with Team 1. According to the Food Bank, every $1.00 donated provides six meals in the community. The Food Bank has distributed over 8.5 million pounds of food in 2015.
And, giving is an opportunity to share your blessings with others. Each year, Team 1’s employees are encouraged to donate part of their salary to a local family in need. 2015 is no exception. An Albion family with a housing need has been identified, and Team Members have pledged voluntarily to give to the family through a payroll deduction. As part of encouraging the Team Members to give, Team 1 Plastics has vowed to match the donations.
