Honoring Excellence: Five Long-Standing Leaders Promoted to Director Roles

As Team 1 Plastics approaches its 40th anniversary next year, the company is proud to celebrate a meaningful milestone in its leadership journey. Five long‑standing team members, each of whom has played a vital role in the company’s growth, have been promoted into newly established Director roles. This recognition reflects the expanded responsibilities they have taken on over the past several years and the trust they have earned as leaders guiding Team 1 into its next chapter.

OUR NEWLY PROMOTED DIRECTORS

Dave Seedorf – Director of Engineering
With Team 1 since 1993

Among the newly promoted Directors, Dave Seedorf is the most veteran member of this group, having been with Team 1 Plastics for 33 years. His perspective reflects the gratitude and commitment shared across all five Directors, while capturing the spirit of this milestone. “I’m incredibly honored and truly grateful for the trust, support, and opportunities that Team 1 Plastics and ownership have provided me.”

As Team 1 continues to grow, co‑owners President Craig Carrel and Vice President Gary Grigowski shared that these leaders have already been guiding the company’s daily operations for several years. Their experience and steady leadership have allowed the owners to step back from the day‑to‑day and focus on long‑term strategy; an important evolution as the company approaches four decades in business. “They’ve taken ownership of their areas, and they’ve been doing it exceptionally well,” Craig and Gary explained, reflecting on the trust and confidence they have in this group. “We only need to step in for major issues, because they’ve proven they can run the day‑to‑day with confidence and care.”

This shift in leadership is rooted in TOREO — Team One Roundtable, the collaborative structure established roughly 25 years ago to ensure equal voice and shared decision‑making among leaders. As Craig and Gary have stepped back, the TOREO group has continued to strengthen Team 1’s operations and support the company’s long‑term succession planning. As Team 1 Plastics approaches its 40th anniversary, these promotions honor the past, recognize the present, and set the stage for the future. They celebrate not only the achievements of these five Directors but also the collaborative culture that has shaped Team 1 Plastics for decades.
