Team 1 Plastics, a plastic injection molding company for the transportation industry, held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on December 1, 1987; officially opening for business.  This year marks the company’s 35th Anniversary, which will be celebrated during their annual 3rd Quarter Meeting later this month.  The annual meetings “include important topics we want to share with all team members, an update on the current state of the business including financials, and a look ahead into the following year,” explains Human Resources Manager Rob Clothier.  Typically, the meetings are held in person with all Team Members in attendance, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be the company’s first in-person 3rd Quarter Meeting since 2019.

To celebrate this milestone, Team 1 will have all Team Members in attendance sign a commemorative banner and framed document, complete with their Championship Dream and new 35th Anniversary logo, as shown above.  Developed in 1999 with input from all Team Members, the Championship Dream is similar to a mission statement, entailing “how the company lives and breathes as they do business.”  This mission statement includes four core values: Customer Service Excellence, Team Member Success, Positive Community Member, and Freedom to Succeed.  In addition to the signings, the company will recognize birthdays that fall in November, present awards to any Team Members that hit a 5-year milestone during the calendar year, and provide refreshments to all in attendance.
